Gen.G, the NBA 2K League’s first non-NBA organization, selected HuYi 56th overall in the 2020 entry draft. The center, who qualified for the draft pool through the league’s Asia-Pacific Invitational tournament in Seoul, was unable to join the team due to the coronavirus pandemic. HuYi previously qualified for the 2019 draft pool, also through the APAC Invitational, but went unselected.
Flacco is a longtime Pro-Am veteran who qualified for both the 2019 and 2020 draft pools, going unselected in both. A versatile player on the court, Flacco figures to be a good option for the Tigers, who sit 5-8 in their first season in the league. Flacco is the second free agent signed this season, after NetsGC added Chess, and the third in league history.
