Will Beverina
Founder, Editor-in-Chief
My name is Will Beverina, and DIMER is my venture into the world of NBA 2K and esports.
I have a Bachelor’s in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Technical Writing from Radford University, and currently work as an editorial assistant for a company in northern Virginia. It was at Radford where I became roommates with the one and only Mootyy, who introduced me to the 2K community.
During my college years, I became Sports Editor of the school newspaper and snagged an internship writing about the Pulaski Yankees, a New York Yankees minor league affiliate, for scout.com. I have years of journalism experience and other forms of writing experience and felt this site was a good way to apply that toward something I enjoy.
I’ve played 2K for years, and while I’m most certainly trash at it I still enjoy playing, whether casually or at a (very) low level competitively. I live in the D.C. area and am a die-hard D.C. sports fan, including, of course, my beloved Wizards.
At the heart of this site is a want to foster healthy discussion about both the game and the NBA 2K League through written content. No ill-will is meant toward anyone with any of these posts. If you disagree with what I say, I’d love to hear your viewpoint.
You can follow me at my personal Twitter account @WillBeverina where I frequently tweet about the league, other video games and D.C. sports.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy DIMER.
Josiah Cohen
Managing Editor
Josiah has covered the NBA 2K League for three years, first for Operation Sports and subsequently for DIMER and TSN. While still an undergraduate student at Columbia University, he is currently a scout and written content creator for Warriors Gaming Squad, which explains his current lack of breaking news and incisive analysis. He has also written for Raptors Uprising GC and NetsGC, both during the 2019 season, before taking up a post with Warriors Gaming Squad. He is also, admittedly, not as good as Will at 2K.
Writers Emeritus
Ricco Phinisee, Celtics Crossover Gaming Head Coach
LenGriffey, Gen.G Tigers Head Coach
