NBA 2K League hopefuls have received their emails after the combine, and the top 176 players have been selected, all of whom are moving on to the next stage of the draft pool selection process: interviews. DIMER has been tracking the list, and although the entire 175 have not been confirmed, there have been 6 international players included so far. Here are their reactions to receiving the email :
KadoTheProblem_ (@Kado_2K) – PF/C, Turkey
“Words can’t describe how I feel and how much I wanted and needed the email. I’ve been trying to make the league for years and now I am closer than I’ve ever been. I know we already proved that Europeans can hoop but I’m gonna take it to the next step if I get a chance in the league. I will be doing my best to represent Europe if I get the chance”
King_Dogan (@King_Dogan_942K) – PF/PG, Germany
“To me, it means so much. Finally getting recognition for doing what I love, having the hard work finally pay off, and being so close to achieving my dream. I’m especially happy making the top 175 of so many guys that competed during the combine, it’s a big honour and it shows me how far I have come. Really an amazing feeling”
LoadingMast (@Mastour) – PG, France
“I’m truly blessed to have received that email, I did not expect it at all. I think I deserve it because of all the hard work I put in since I started playing competitive pro-am this year, I’m trying to be an inspiration to all those who want to be great and prove to them that hard work always pays off, it’s not a myth. It is just the first step though, I’m hoping I will make the draft pool and hopefully a team will give me the chance to show my talent, because they will be getting a top player and the hardest worker on the scene!”
BreakerTheBeast (@BreakerTheBeast) – PG, France
“I’m excited because it’s a very important step for my pro 2K career and I am proud of myself because I worked on my game and now it’s paid off”
MiiLsO_ (@MiiLsO) – PF/C, France
“I’ve been waiting for this for 3 years. To be a part of the top 175, it’s really amazing.”
Baqhy (@Baqqy_) – SF/SG, Australia
“It means a lot to me because it makes me one step closer to my goal which is to make the NBA 2K League”
