Pen to paper 📝 We’ve officially extended @OGKINGCURT as GM & Head Coach through the 2020 season!
Curtiss was hired to helm NetsGC last September, first bringing in 2018 NBA 2K League Finals MVP NateKahl and former Pacers Gaming big man oShockey in the expansion draft. At the 2019 entry draft, Curtiss selected Wavy.zay, Shuttles, Lav and iiTzChas. NetsGC went 7-9 in its inaugural league campaign.
After co-founding and operating the popular Pro-Am league MPBA for years prior to the NBA 2K League’s establishment, Curtiss was brought on by Bucks Gaming in season one as a draft analyst alongside now-Mavs Gaming Head Coach Toijuin “LT” Fairley.
“For [Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment] to believe and trust me to lead NetsGC is an honor that I don’t take for granted,” Curtiss told DIMER. “I will work diligently to maintain the culture we created in our first season while becoming a contender as well. I love Brooklyn!”
