Raptors Uprising GC and expansion team Gen.G Tigers have agreed to swap picks in the 2020 entry draft, with the Raptors acquiring the No. 27 and No. 42 picks in exchange for the No. 32 and No. 34 selections. The teams announced the transaction Wednesday night.
The deal is Gen.G’s second trade of its inaugural offseason in the NBA 2K League. After selecting ZDS in the 2019 expansion draft, Gen.G dealt the sharpshooter, along with a third-round pick, back to 76ers GC in exchange for first- and second-round picks (21st and 42nd overall). Gen.G selected Turnupdefense with the second overall pick in the expansion draft.
Raptors Uprising GC protected 2018 first-round pick Kenny and 2019 in-season acquisition Sick before the offseason, with this pick swap their first deal of the offseason. The Raptors also hold the No. 11 overall pick, the same slot at which they selected Kenny in 2019.
The deal marks the second picks-for-picks deal of the day, with Heat Check Gaming and Hornets Venom GT swapping first-round picks and more early Wednesday afternoon.
