Brandon “Hood” Caicedo has requested a trade from T-Wolves Gaming, league sources tell DIMER.
Hood, second in the league in scoring in season one, leads T-Wolves Gaming with 17.5 points per game on 47% shooting.
T-Wolves Gaming sits 1-3 in the regular season. The team went 1-1 in week one, losing to the Bucks and beating the Lakers, before going 0-2 in week three after a bye. In the Tipoff Tournament, the T-Wolves went a perfect 2-0 in their group before bowing out at the hands of eventual champions 76ers GC in the quarterfinals.
The team acquired Hood from Cavs Legion GC last September in exchange for the third overall pick in the 2018 expansion draft (oLarry).
Hood is the second star player to request a trade. Kings Guard Gaming point guard BP has also requested a trade, though reports indicate that he is unlikely to be moved anytime soon.
The NBA 2K League trade window opens on April 28 and runs until June 16. Teams are allowed up to two trades, including any moves made during the first trade window, and can only swap players, not draft picks. The T-Wolves are limited to one trade after trading for Hood at the expansion draft.
