The NBA 2K League in-season trade window will be held from April 28-June 16, league sources tell DIMER.
Teams will only be allowed to trade players during the window. No draft picks, either for the expansion or entry draft, can be traded, since the league has not yet finalized the offseason expansion and entry draft process. Teams must trade an equal number of players: for example, teams can swap one player for one player, but cannot trade two players for one individual player.
Several teams have reportedly already inquired about other teams’ players. No. 3 overall pick BP, who requested a trade earlier in the year, is not likely to be dealt, sources tell DIMER, although multiple teams initially inquired about the Kings Guard Gaming point guard when news of his trade request was made public.
This is the second trade window that the NBA 2K League has opened, and the first ever to be opened in the middle of the season. The first-ever trade window began after the 2018 expansion draft, and ran from Sept. 27-Oct. 10, 2018. The window saw six trades, including one player-for-player (oLarry for Hood) swap, most notably Pistons GT dealing MVP candidate Ramo to Pacers Gaming in exchange for the No. 4 overall pick in the 2019 entry draft (MrStylez).
