Last year’s Draft Clash, held at PAX East in Boston, used a similar format, putting players from the first-ever class of NBA 2K League players against each other using the season one combine build of the game. Participants included season one third-overall pick Yeah I Compete of Jazz Gaming and Heat Check Gaming’s season one MVP candidate Hotshot.
Warriors Gaming Squad’s Chiquita Evans, the first woman ever drafted into the NBA 2K League, headlines the roster for the rookie team. Jazz Gaming’s first overall pick Ria, Magic Gaming’s Vandi (No. 7 overall), T-Wolves Gaming’s BearDaBeast (No. 11) and Hawks Talon GC’s DevGoss (No. 13) will join Evans on the first-year squad.
The veterans roster will comprise Dimez (Mavs Gaming), Swizurk (Pacers Gaming), oLarry (Cavs Legion GC), Steez (76ers GC) and Goofy (Knicks Gaming).
