After the 2019 season, in which the team finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs, Bucks Gaming protected 2018 first-round pick ARooks and 2019 sixth-overall selection Plondo from expansion. Sitting in the late lottery with the No. 12 overall pick in the draft, the Bucks figure to be in the market for a point guard, and they’ve added two big-name point guards to the pool with this move.
The Bucks’ King of the Hill tournament was unique among most team tournaments so far in that it was conducted in 3-on-3 Pro-Am. The Xbox and PS4 finals saw big names like JBM, Sav, and Choc duel for the cash prize and draft pool spots. JBM was selected from the Xbox side, while Sav was chosen from the PS4 tournament.
“I plan to take this opportunity in full stride and make it a personal mission to become the best player and teammate I can be leading up to the draft in order to put my team in the best predicament possible,” JBM told DIMER.
