NetsGC has traded NateKahl to Pacers Gaming for the 16th pick in the NBA 2K League 2020 entry draft, the teams announced today.
The lockdown defender was drafted by Knicks Gaming in the second round of the inaugural NBA 2K League entry draft, and won a championship in New York while being named Finals MVP.
After not being protected by the Knicks following their championship season, NetsGC scooped him up with the second pick in the 2018 expansion draft. The Nets went 7-9 and missed the playoffs, while Nate was able to tally 11.9 points per game and 2.6 steals per game primarily as a lockdown defender.
The Nets are now left with Shuttles on the roster, plus the 9th and 16th overall picks in next year’s expansion draft.
Pacers Gaming roster now houses WoLF, Swizurk, Lets Get It Ramo and NateKahl, a formidable lineup on paper, but with questions about where Nate fits considering WoLF’s status as a premier lockdown defender himself, though he did play point guard in Pacer Gaming’s inaugural season.
