The Charlotte Hornets have teased a major NBA 2K League reveal across their social media channels, with Thursday, June 27 the likely date for its release.
On June 25, the team Twitter account posted a promotional video indicating “6.27.2019” with the caption “Something new is coming… any guesses?” The video depicts a young boy drawing what could potentially be the outline of the team’s NBA 2K League logo on a basketball court.

The team has not yet announced a team manager after opening a position for one shortly after their team announcement. Sources indicate that the Hornets have their eye on a particular candidate, but no formal agreement has been struck yet. The speculated Thursday announcement will most likely not contain any information about the manager search.
