Magic Gaming has agreed to a trade with Grizz Gaming, sending KelMav to Memphis in exchange for Toxsik.
Toxsik, a Florida native, confirmed his departure from the Grizz with a tweet posted late Sunday night.

Thank you to @GrizzGaming for the opportunity to represent their organization, made some great relationships a long the way. I’m excited for this new chapter, I’m coming home! 😈 https://t.co/OQuKv2Dmc5
Toxsik has spent his second season in the league playing as a lockdown defender in Memphis. The native Floridian was drafted by Cavs Legion GC in last year’s draft before being snapped up by the Grizz in the third round of the season two entry draft. The shooting guard is averaging 7.8 points and 1 steal per game this season.
“We’re excited to add ToXsiK to our team and think his talents will fit in well with a tremendous potential to grow with us,” said Magic Gaming Head Coach Jonah Edwards. “ToXsiK will give us veteran leadership and a potent long-range shot potential. We want to thank KelMav for his contributions and wish him all the best in the future.”

Sharpshooting rookie KelMav, also a third-round pick in the 2019 entry draft, hasn’t had the season most expected of him. He’s averaging just 8.7 points per game in the regular season on 40% shooting from the field with a 24% clip from beyond the arc.
“ToXsiK has been an awesome teammate and leader and played an integral part in helping Grizz Gaming get to the place where we are today,” said Grizz Gaming General Manager Lang Whitaker. “We had the opportunity to move Tox to a terrific organization in Orlando, which is just up the road from his hometown and where Tox will fit their culture right away. In return, we got KelMav, who we scouted heading into the draft and we think will be a great fit for our team. We are excited to get KelMav to Memphis and continue working to be a better team every day.”
Toxsik did not play for the Grizz in week five. KelMav played in the team’s defeat of Pistons GT and sat in a loss to Warriors Gaming Squad. Both Grizz Gaming and Magic Gaming sit at 3-4 on the season, and both teams have a bye in week 6.
The NBA 2K League trade window runs from April 28 to June 16. Teams are allowed up to two trades over the course of the two trade windows (the first ran from September 27-October 10 last year, after the expansion draft). With the league still undecided on the offseason and draft process, only one-for-one player swaps (and two-for-two deals for those teams with two trades remaining) are permitted.
