Kenny shepherded the Raptors’ rise to dominance, as the team has opened the season 7-0 after finishing 7-9 in 2019. The Uprising’s first-ever draft pick, Kenny has been a revelation this season, scoring 33.5 points and dishing out 6.5 assists per game. He’s also shooting 61% from the field and taking (and making) more 3-pointers than any other point guard in the league. He’s the first Raptors Uprising player to win a Player of the Month award in the team’s history.

The Raptors have paced the league in most standard statistical categories this year, leading the league in scoring, assists, shooting and steals. Their press-heavy defense and ball movement on offense have confounded teams on both sides of the court, and the Raptors are 14-2 in games across their undefeated seven series thus far.
Fan voting accounts for 50 percent of the vote to determine the winner. NBA 2K League teams and officials each account for an additional 25 percent of the vote. The same voting structure holds true for the Player of the Week selection at the end of each week.
