Utah Jazz Gaming has revealed its new in-game uniforms for the NBA 2K League season.
The uniform reveal comes after the NBA 2K League announced a league-wide partnership with Champion Athleticwear, which will outfit all 21 teams with uniforms, practice, and travel gear, as well as work with the teams on their in-game uniforms.
“We are excited to show off a new side to Jazz Gaming,” Utah’s Josh Barney told DIMER. “We had a gold jersey last season, and working with the NBA 2K League we agreed it was time to use a white jersey for our home games.”
Per the team:
“New this year, Jazz Gaming avatars will wear Association Edition white uniforms for the team’s home games. The club wore gold for contests on their digital home court during the inaugural season of NBA 2K League play. Jazz Gaming avatars will continue to sport the Icon Edition navy uniforms for all away matches.
The front of the jerseys features the Jazz Gaming primary logo, which pays tribute to the Jazz and the state of Utah, and the secondary eighth note logo is displayed on the waistband of the shorts. The back of the jersey lists the player’s number and their gamer tag.”
The Jazz hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA 2K League Entry draft, to be held March 5 at Barclays Center. The team protected last year’s third overall pick Compete from expansion, as well as OG Deedz. Over the offseason, Utah hired Jelani “2kCompGames” Mitchell as head coach.
“There are a lot of positive things happening in our world right now,” Barney said. “We are excited to come out swinging with our all-star head coach, the draft and the start of the season. There is a lot to be excited about as a Jazz Gaming fan this season.”
Jazz Gaming merchandise is also now available on the Jazz team store.
